WhichWinery.com was created by avid wine lovers and travelers, Gabrielle and Anthony Poston, to guide consumers in discovering and experiencing new wineries that fit their custom search preferences.
The Backstory:
Wine became a large part of our lives and relationship early on. With a deep passion for wine and knowledge of winery locations and attributes, friends and family frequently asked us for recommendations on “which wineries” to visit. We began to realize that we, like so many others, were recommending and visiting the same wineries repeatedly…never really fully experiencing the wine country and amazing wineries available to us. One serendipitous moment while on Avenue de Champagne in Epernay France, with a map in hand, unable to find the champagne house that we wanted to visit (which later was found to be closed to the public), lightning struck and we realized there needs to be a better way to find and visit wineries. Unable to find another option out there that offered what we were looking for…we built it!
WhichWinery Today:
WhichWinery.com now boasts over 20K+ wineries across 47 countries and is the world’s first winery based, travel site that connects each winery’s unique qualities with user preferences, allowing users to find wineries, plan and share trips utilizing the trip planner tool, track their visits and continue to learn about the world of wine. Whether it be a small, family run, dog friendly winery cozily situated down a dirt road, or a modern facility with a view, boasting a large production that caters to groups, WhichWinery.com connects people to unique wineries, that match their custom preferences, anywhere in the world.
WhichWinery Helps Wineries Too:
Wineries can leverage a free marketing platform to showcase their winery profile and all they offer (wine types, amenities, ambiance, their story, awards they’ve won, etc..) and gain a deeper understanding of their audience through advanced analytics accessible to them. Wineries have a direct connection to a community of wine consumers to market their products and services, build brands, and achieve industry recognition.
WhichWinery VIP Concierge Service:
Though WhichWinery provides the tools that allow people anywhere in the world to plan their winery visits based on their custom preferences, there is also demand for a service that takes the thinking/legwork out of it and plans wine country trips and experiences for people. And so, we’ve launched a VIP service to accommodate clientele who want an elevated experience of allowing us to plan their winery trip – whether that means winery visits, transportation, lunch, accommodations or all of the above – we’ll make it happen. After completing a questionnaire to better understand their preferences and and preferred experiences, WhichWinery does the leg work and planning and presents clients with a fully baked wine country itinerary customized to their needs and preferences.

Stories have become a necessary and integral part of a memorable wine country experience. Clients are asking for unique experiences that they otherwise would not have knowledge or access to – these are the kind of experiences that innately create stories that consumers gravitate towards. Exclusive Experiences does exactly that, bringing unique offerings to the table that consumers can opt in and purchase – whether that’s a unique wine tasting experience, wine purchase experience or tour experience from tour operators.
